Whether it’s bread, toast or flat bread: Fully automated feed of each baked good in the infeed process. Accumulating roller conveyors ensure your goods are gently transported to the machine.

2. Cutting

The baked goods are cut using the proven slicer or belt cutting technology. For optimum hygienic conditions, we at Rianta supplement this step with extraction, blade lubrication and UV irradiation of critical points.

3. Synchronization

The synchronisator acts as an important link between the cutting and packaging machine. It feeds the sliced bread safely into its packaging. Its contact surfaces are carefully selected depending on the product and meet the highest hygiene standards.

We have developed a turning station for packaging half products, which guarantees reliable results even at maximum output.

4. Transport

The transport area of your packaging machine should be easily accessible and easy to clean and maintain. For this, we have turned the process on its head: Your products now go through the machine horizontally rather than vertically on a hygienic stainless steel plate – instead of a conventional chain.

5. Packing

Whether it’s a loaf pan or a round loaf of bread: Now, these sliced baked goods are packaged in suitable bags. Together, proven and new technologies form a stable packaging process for easy planning and flexible design.

7. Closing via a clip

The machine's clipper module – tried and tested a thousand times – closes the filled bags with a clip of your choice. Whether it's a double wire clip, a resealable plastic clip or the tamper-proof ClipStrip plus developed by Rianta: All types of clips are possible.

8. Quality control

Be on the safe side with Rianta: The integrated quality system with scales in the packaging line ensures that only flawless products reach the dispatch area. To detect any possible foreign bodies or metal fragments in the product, the quality inspection is available with metal detector or X-ray function as an option.

9. Grouping

The packed individual products are now grouped in containers for further processing or the point of sale. The special feature of the Rianta solution: This process step is also fully automated.
The high-performance system groups the layer formation for further processing, as required, in an intelligent and highly flexible way. This entails collective know-how of different applications. The result is a solution that meets all requirements.

10. Collective packing

Whether plastic tray or shipping carton: Place your products in the outer packaging of your choice in a fully-automated process. At Rianta you will always find the right solution, from a top loader to a highly flexible pick and place module. We also integrate the end-of-line inspection system directly in the packaging line.

6. Welding and cutting

In this optional process step, the packaging is sealed airtight before clipping. This provides a tamper-evident seal and extends the shelf life of your products. This tailoring ensures well-designed packaging on the shelf.

The RIANTA Slicer is a tried-and-tested belt cutting machine for the industry. In collaboration with customers and partners, we are constantly developing it further so that we always stay one step ahead in the market in terms of hygiene, flexibility and total cost of ownership. 

  • The saw blade voltage control with servo drive increases the life of your saw blades and gives you maximum control. 
  • The automatic, non-contact blade lubrication system guarantees a high standard of hygiene. It can be adjusted centrally at the HMI without entering the machine.
  • For germ reduction, we place UV lamps in the machine room. Extraction units prevent any contamination and make cleaning and disinfection easier.
  • We can flexibly adapt the module design to your requirements.
